Examination Overview

The Office of Examinations at BTL Institute of Management is responsible for ensuring the smooth, fair, and transparent conduct of examinations in accordance with the regulations of Bangalore University.

Key Functions

  • Plans and conducts examinations as per the academic calendar and university guidelines.
  • Ensures fairness, transparency, and integrity in the evaluation process.
  • Coordinates examination logistics including timetables, examination halls, and invigilation.
  • Facilitates the timely declaration of examination results.
  • Works with academic departments to align course objectives with assessment methods.
  • Provides students with guidance on examination procedures and academic regulations.
  • Addresses examination-related concerns through a grievance redressal mechanism.

Attendance Requirement

  • Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject to be eligible to appear for examinations.

Continuous Assessment

Continuous assessment is conducted during the semester to evaluate students’ academic progress. It includes:

  • Internal Tests
  • Assignments
  • Projects
  • Presentations and other academic evaluation activities

End Term Examination

  • Conducted at the end of the semester as per the schedule prescribed by Bangalore University.
  • Students who meet the attendance and continuous assessment requirements are eligible to appear for the End Term Examination.
  • The examination results are declared according to the evaluation process and regulations of Bangalore University.
